1st Grade & Up
Jazz dance combines techniques of classical ballet and modern dance with current forms of popular dance. Jazz also has its own movement vocabulary ranging from the isolation of body parts to the movement of the entire body with the accents of musical rhythms.
Emphasis is on the importance of energy, rhythmic accuracy, and style. Students build both technical skill and individual expression in a dynamic, fun class environment.
Each child is individually placed in a particular class level based on previous experience and training.
