Studio Policies
Our policies are in place to provide your child with the best in dance education. We do our best to keep things running smoothly and provide a safe environment for our students. Please review the policies below and contact us with any questions!
Access Parent Portal →- Arrive on time: Remind students to use the bathroom prior to class. Students who are more than 10 minutes late will be asked to sit and observe.
- Entering Class: Teachers will come get students when it is time for class to begin. Students should not enter the studio space until invited by the instructor. Parents should not enter the studio unless invited by the teacher (exception: Mommy & Me classes).
- Attendance: Please make every effort to attend each class. If your child is sick or unable to attend, please call, text, or email the office with the reason for the absence.
- Observing: Parents are welcome to use the viewing windows to observe class. Do not enter the dance class for any reason. Leave a message with the front office if you have a question for the teacher.
- Behavior: Please treat our studio as if it were your home. Any person showing negative or disrespectful behavior may be asked to leave and could lead to termination. Students should not be in a studio space without a teacher.
- Food & Beverages: Light, healthy snacks are allowed in the lobby only. Water is the only beverage permitted in class. No gum permitted in class.
- Sickness: Please refrain from bringing your child to dance if they are sick with a contagious illness. Children showing symptoms including fever or cough may be asked to be picked up.
- Safety & Security: Please be prompt to pick up your child. All students must wait inside the building for their ride. For late evening classes, the outside door may be locked at 7pm — use the doorbell to enter.
- Inclement Weather: We will notify you via email/phone if classes are cancelled and post on our social media pages.
Dress codes vary by class. Hair must be pulled back neat and secure for all classes — bun for ballet, ponytail for all others. All dance attire can be purchased in our office.
